Billing

Flexible Billing Options

At Granite, we provide our customer with a single consolidated bill with no hidden charges. All fixed and variable charges are presented in a clear and concise manner. Granite customers have the option of receiving a single bill at the corporate level or separate bills by individual location, by department, or by general ledger code to allow easy integration into customer payment systems.

Detailed Billing

Granite has incorporated a unique hierarchical reporting structure adding flexibility in organizing and presenting invoices based on each individual customer's needs. The billing hierarchy contains two levels:

  • "Parent Account" at the corporate level
  • "Child Accounts" for the individual location levels

The bill is available in detail or summary format whether the Parent or Child locations are responsible for payment. All billing is performed in-house giving Granite total control over the billing process and accuracy. In addition, our account management software easily interfaces with:

  • SAP
  • Peoplesoft
  • Oracle
  • JD Edwards
  • Lawson
  • Great Plains
  • WinBill

Granite will work with you to provide the information you need to manage your risk management and loss prevention expenses.

Invoice Options

At Granite we pride ourselves on our flexibility. We offer several invoice and payment options:

  • Web-based access
  • EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
  • Email
  • Mailed CD-ROM diskette

Granite does provide conventional paper bills but strongly encourages our customers to join us in saving precious natural resources by going paperless.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

Customers with EDI software can take advantage of the 811 Consolidated Service Invoice Statement. Granite currently offers the 811 Consolidated Summary Transaction Set and Extended 811 Transaction set Guideline. Our current methods of transport are email and FTP. If a customer wishes to use a VAN for file transfer, they must incur the VAN transport costs. Below are links to the EDI Transaction Guidelines as well as a New EDI Partner form that needs to be completed in order to initiate EDI billing.
